This incident caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
