Oleksandr Usyk stands as a gold medal gold medalist, triple unified world champion and unbeaten in 24 professional bouts.
The champion Usyk declares he intends to remain active for two more years and expects to make a comeback in the year 2026, but dismissed a match with UK boxer Moses Itauma.
The Ukrainian fighter, 38, beat Daniel Dubois at the London venue in the summer to achieve status as a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion.
Usyk, who had once owned every major world titles at cruiserweight, had earlier suggested that he would fight just one more time before hanging up his gloves.
But, the pound-for-pound fighter seems to have changed that decision.
"I will continue until I turn forty-one," Usyk stated on the R2F platform. "Then I plan to create a sports academy - I'll work out there and train others."
The champion revealed he has returned in training after sitting out due to a injury which led to the delay of a fight with WBO mandatory challenger Joseph Parker.
Usyk continued that, "Hopefully", he will return in the coming year but excluded young boxer from Chatham Itauma as a possible rival.
"Absolutely not, I won't fight Itauma," he stated. "He's young - always teasing me. He also mentioned himself he doesn't hit older fighters."
"It's impossible to tell who specifically [{I'll fight next|I will face next|my next bout will be against] because negotiations are in progress. I'd be lying by naming a specific boxer."
Itauma improved his perfect record to thirteen victories, with eleven KOs, by stopping ex-title contender Dillian Whyte within 120 seconds in August.
World Boxing Association has mandated its secondary champion Kubrat Pulev to fight Itauma in his next bout, but the Bulgarian is keen to keep his championship against Murat Gassiev in Dubai in December.
